I wrote, designed, and produced this motion graphics video as a volunteer for Cancer Rebel, a brand and fundraising driver for The Cure Stats Now, one of the nation's leading childhood cancer research and fundraising organizations based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This video was used as a centerpiece on the Cancer Rebel campaign website and in paid media to drive pledges and donations. The design of the video was a diversion away from traditional cancer awareness content which typically uses soft colors, tragic imagery, and inspirational copy. We wanted to cut through the noise — defeating cancer requires action, a revolution in our way of thinking about this timely disease whose cure is long overdue.
